Estudio 6 Construction Begins in Salamanca, First Of 55 Projects  The major hotel developer G6 Hospitality is best known for its endeavors under the name of Motel 6 and Studio 6 in Canada and the United States. G6 is expanding its reach southward, and has announced that they plan to build 55 hotels in Mexico. They signed the agreement to develop these properties with Latina Promohoteles by 2020. The first of those hotels comes in the form of one Estudio 6 in Salamanca, Guanajuato. Ground was recently broken in this first property, and to celebrate the step towards this new hotel they hosted an event. Attendees ranged from members of the community to high-ranking Mexico officials. The aim for Estudio 6 is to create the most cost effective hospitality option for travelers who are visiting the area for work, as well as for those who are hoping to stay for an extended time. G6 is confident that its renown for clean rooms at the most competitive prices will make Estudio 6 a success in the area. The building will be seven stories tall and will be made up of 78 rooms. G6 is basing the design off its award-winning Phoenix property. The rooms with be suite-style, and Estudio 6 will be the only hotel in the area offering those kinds of rooms. The rooms will feature kitchenettes, refrigerators, internet, and cable TV. G6 projects that the hotel will be ready to open sometime in the last fiscal quarter of 2015.
