As the Owner of Parkwest, Ed’s daily responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the company, Project Management, Estimating, and Business Development. With over 34 years of experience in construction and the construction management field, Ed has managed and completed projects of all sizes from the very small to greater than $100 million. Since 2005, Ed’s focus has been in the Hospitality Industry focusing on hotel renovations and remodels. Ed has overseen the renovation of hotels from all major brands, Full & Select Service, and Boutique Hotels. With a strong background in management, Ed understands the daily operations of hotels and the need to keep them in operation while under construction.
Nancy is based at the corporate headquarters in Anaheim, CA, and is responsible for spearheading the company’s growth strategy along with coordinating projects and executive administration. Nancy has teamed up with Parkwest to complete its dynamic executive team. With a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, Nancy brings fresh new perspectives to the company and assists in business development, implementing new structures to the operations and contributing her strong work ethic and enthusiasm to help Parkwest grow as one of the West Coast’s top Construction Companies. Nancy has a background in sales and understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting client relationships. She has also played a role in Parkwest’s community outreach and is committed to helping Parkwest further develop their relationship with the local community.
Neil is a seasoned construction professional with over 27 years of experience in all aspects of hotel renovations and redevelopment of commercial spaces for Hospitality, Commercial Construction and Residential projects. As Senior Director of Construction, Neil oversees and ensures all aspects of the project are executed to client satisfaction. His strong communication skills have been instrumental in the growth of Parkwest General Contractor’s client relationships. Since 2009, Neil has been involved in all aspects of Hotel Renovations covering many major brands as well as dozens of Boutique Hotels. Neil is very well known in the sailing community on the West coast of California. He has competitively raced all over the United States and has covered the Pacific Ocean from Washington, Hawaii, and all the way down to Puerto Vallarta. You can usually find him sailing on most of his days off with his son Hayden and daughter Zoe.
Kevin Smith joined Parkwest General Construction in 2024 after a 25 year career with W L Butler Construction. Passionate about his profession, as well as the company he represents, Kevin has developed a reputation within the industry that is rooted in integrity and honesty.
A native of Topeka Kansas and educated with a concentration in Business at California State Fullerton, Kevin’s experiences run deep; from projects that include interactions with financial institutions, brokers and tenants, his strong sales orientation and workhorse approach. Kevin guides the strategic marketing plan, coordinates business collaborations, manages all existing client relationships and oversees business development efforts to generate new opportunities and expand the company’s market share throughout Southern California.
Kevin is the consummate marketer and the term “six degrees of separation” is directly applicable because of his outgoing personality and charm. His entrepreneurial spirit and negotiation skills; coupled with an impeccable ability to build rapport and credibility quickly, are the foundation for his many successes—on both a personal and professional level.
Sales is a demanding field, but off hours you’ll find this tenacious spirit taking a few swings on the green, riding the waves, spending quality time with his two grandchildren or participating in several local charity events. He is an active member of NAIOP and ICSC.
Brittany is responsible for project coordination, assisting project management, and works alongside executive administration. With certifications in Construction and Human Resource Management, she brings valuable knowledge and proficiency to grow the Parkwest team to allow growth for success and client satisfaction. She has gained extensive knowledge working for different trade contractors including plumbing, metal stud framing and drywall, and other contractors of specialized work that allow her to utilize that knowledge in different situations both out in the field and the office. With exceptional customer service skills, she is well versed in the importance of client relations and satisfaction.
Frank has been with the Parkwest family for over 12 years and has over 40 years of construction experience and 20 years as a licensed General Contractor. Frank brings much valued experience to the Parkwest Team from Pre-Construction to Estimating and Project Management. As a Pre-Construction Estimator he has the experience and knowledge of construction practices and methodologies to thoroughly understand the construction process and can capture the concept and context of a project. Frank’s background includes shopping center development, large and small commercial buildings, restaurants, site improvements, site infrastructure and hotel renovations. He has been directly involved in the Pre-Construction and Estimating process where special care and experience is needed to complete conceptual cost feasibility studies, schematic design milestone estimates and final cost budgets. Frank’s background also includes Construction Defect Litigation where his complete understanding and knowledge in construction helps to mitigate project risk and liabilities.
