As the Owner of Parkwest, Ed’s daily responsibilities include managing the day-to-day operations of the company, Project Management, Estimating, and Business Development. With over 34 years of experience in construction and the construction management field, Ed has managed and completed projects of all sizes from the very small to greater than $100 million. Since 2005, Ed’s focus has been in the Hospitality Industry focusing on hotel renovations and remodels. Ed has overseen the renovation of hotels from all major brands, Full & Select Service, and Boutique Hotels. With a strong background in management, Ed understands the daily operations of hotels and the need to keep them in operation while under construction.
Neil is a distinguished construction executive with over 31 years of comprehensive, hands-on experience specializing in large-scale hotel renovations, commercial redevelopments, and premium residential projects. As President of Parkwest General Contractors, Neil provides the overarching strategic vision and operational oversight for the firm’s entire portfolio. He is actively involved in commanding all phases of project execution—from initial pre-construction planning and budgeting through to final punch-list delivery—ensuring that every project strictly aligns with client objectives, aggressive timelines, and institutional quality standards.
Throughout his career, Neil’s emphasis on transparent, proactive communication and collaborative problem-solving has been a primary catalyst for Parkwest’s sustained growth and high client retention rate. By fostering strong partnerships with owners, developers, architects, and brand representatives, he consistently navigates complex structural and logistical challenges without compromising on design intent or operational efficiency.
Since 2009, Neil has established a premier reputation within the hospitality sector, successfully directing extensive capital improvement and Property Improvement Plan (PIP) renovations. His deep expertise spans major global hotel flags, where adherence to rigid brand standards is critical, as well as dozens of highly customized boutique properties requiring bespoke, high-end finishes. Under his leadership, Parkwest General Contractors continues to deliver exceptional commercial spaces that maximize asset value and elevate the guest experience.
Nancy is based at the corporate headquarters in Anaheim, CA, and is responsible for spearheading the company’s growth strategy along with coordinating projects and executive administration. Nancy has teamed up with Parkwest to complete its dynamic executive team. With a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Irvine, Nancy brings fresh new perspectives to the company and assists in business development, implementing new structures to the operations and contributing her strong work ethic and enthusiasm to help Parkwest grow as one of the West Coast’s top Construction Companies. Nancy has a background in sales and understands the importance of providing exceptional customer service and building long-lasting client relationships. She has also played a role in Parkwest’s community outreach and is committed to helping Parkwest further develop their relationship with the local community.
Kevin Smith joined Parkwest General Construction in 2024 after a 25 year career with W L Butler Construction. Passionate about his profession, as well as the company he represents, Kevin has developed a reputation within the industry that is rooted in integrity and honesty.
A native of Topeka Kansas and educated with a concentration in Business at California State Fullerton, Kevin’s experiences run deep; from projects that include interactions with financial institutions, brokers and tenants, his strong sales orientation and workhorse approach. Kevin guides the strategic marketing plan, coordinates business collaborations, manages all existing client relationships and oversees business development efforts to generate new opportunities and expand the company’s market share throughout Southern California.
Kevin is the consummate marketer and the term “six degrees of separation” is directly applicable because of his outgoing personality and charm. His entrepreneurial spirit and negotiation skills; coupled with an impeccable ability to build rapport and credibility quickly, are the foundation for his many successes—on both a personal and professional level.
Sales is a demanding field, but off hours you’ll find this tenacious spirit taking a few swings on the green, riding the waves, spending quality time with his two grandchildren or participating in several local charity events. He is an active member of NAIOP and ICSC.

Holding specialized credentials in both Construction Management and Human Resource Management, Brittany blends technical industry expertise with strong organizational leadership. This unique dual proficiency empowers her to optimize team performance, streamline operational workflows, and consistently deliver high-quality project outcomes that align with client expectations.
Throughout her career, Brittany has cultivated deep, hands-on knowledge across diverse specialty trades—including plumbing, metal stud framing, and drywall.
