KTGY Architecture + Planning unveiled their plan for Bolsa Row, a mixed-use development featuring housing, retail, and dining. Bolsa Row is planned to take root on a 6-acre plot in Westminster, CA, and will act as a gateway to €œLittle Saigon, -the largest Vietnamese community in the U.S.
The development will be close enough to enjoy views of Disneyland fireworks. Additionally, the designer's favor a design that will orient activity within the development. This will reduce the impact on nearby residential neighbors.
Bolsa Row will include features such as a 5-story, 150 room hotel and 210 studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom apartment units. Additionally, the development will boast 60,000 square feet of ground floor retail, restaurant, and event space. A pool and deck area will also be available.
Bolsa Row is also looking to create €œFestival Street, -a pedestrian friendly walkway that will connect the different aspects of the project. Festival Street can host outdoor markets, celebrations, and private parties. During such events, the street can be closed to traffic. When the street is open, it will provide parking so visiting shoppers can access the development's retail spaces.
Additionally, the project will include €œCelebration Bridge -a landscaped bridge that will offer outdoor seating areas and connect the event hall to the hotel's roof garden. The bridge will aid pedestrian mobility and provide additional event space.
Plans for Bolsa Row have been submitted to the city and are currently under review.
