Hotel Group Announces Changes To Executive Leadership The Rezidor Hotel Group, a member of the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, operates over 430 hotels around the world. At the end of January, the Group announced that they would be making some changes to their corporate structure in an effort to maximize their organization's profitability and efficiency. To benefit their company, their shareholders, their properties, and their guests they have announced that they are reshaping their Executive Committee. Elie Younes has been promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Development Officer. Younes previously served as Senior Vice President & Head of Group Development. Marianne Ruhngaard, Senior Vice President & General Counsel and Eugene Staal, Senior Vice President Technical Development have both stepped out of their leadership roles at Rezidor and will be leaving the company. In an effort to create a diversified, impactful Executive Committee, Rezidor announced a new Committee consisting of the following people. Joining Younes, Wolfgang M. Neumann will act as President & CEO and Knut Kleiven will serve as Deputy President & CFO. Olivier Harnisch and Eric De Neef will join Younes as Executive Vice Presidents, and Harnisch will also act as Chief Operating Officer while De Neef serves as Chief Commercial Officer. Michael Farrell will fill the role of Senior Vice President Human Resources. The person who fills the role Ruhngaard vacated as General Counsel will also become a member of the Executive Committee.
