A contractor gains several other advantages using construction robotics. Drones are an example of smart robots as they communicate sensor-driven data from the air with multiple ground devices. Contractors can operate robots from remote locations, using them for surveying and inspecting a worksite to collect useful data.

Future of Construction Robots

The International Federation of Robotics and the Robotic Industries Association have reported that the robotics market is expected to grow annually 8.7 percent (CAGR) through 2022. IDC’s forecast is over double that amount.
