Super Bowl LI will be a great boom to the Houston area, and with the influx of tourists, the need for more hotel rooms arises. In fact, as a part of that preparation, some estimates indicate that the downtown area will see an increase in hotel rooms by approximately 8,000!
Its new hotels are actually dual-branded: Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Houston. This dual-brand concept creates enhanced and larger communal areas that what would be standard at a stand-alone party, benefitting both business and leisure travelers. It's not so much two hotels making one hotel, because the leviathan will have two lobbies and two dining areas—each catering to the needs of their respective guests, while sharing one registration desk, rooftop pool, and fitness center.
Both properties offer guests a central location and convenient access to the local Houstonian attractions like the Houston Museum of Natural Science, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston's Space Center, and Minute Maid Park—which are all just a short drive away.
Hampton by Hilton (or “Ham-Hil†as we're calling them) will provide guests with, complimentary hot breakfast (eggs, oatmeal, and waffles) along with breakfast bags, free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with free printing, and 24-hour fitness center. Each guestroom includes an HD TV, fridge, and coffeemaker.
