RIM HOSPITALITY APPOINTS DON LI TO CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER FOR THEIR NEW ASIA-PACIFIC DIVISION

NEWPORT BEACH, California - January 27, 2014 - RIM HOSPITALITY, one of the leading hotel management companies in North America, announced today the appointment of Mr. Don Li as Chief Operating Officer of Rim Hospitality's new Asia-Pacific Division. Li will assist foreign owners with U.S. hotel acquisitions, developing re-positioning strategies, brand selection, renovations and the ongoing day-to-day management of the asset. "We created an international division within Rim Hospitality in order to meet the needs and interests of investors coming from China and other parts of Asia. Mr. Li's transnational experience, strong core values and extensive operations and development background make him the ideal candidate to oversee and drive the success of the new Asia-Pacific division for Rim Hospitality," said President and CEO, Mark Burden.
Previously, Li served as CEO for Swiss International Hotels and Resorts based in Shanghai, where he was instrumental in brand development throughout greater China. In addition, he spent eight years at Wyndham Hotel Group International, where he held a variety of corporate positions including Regional VP of Development for China and Japan.
