Why Travel Plans Focus on Life Experiences Instead of Luxuries Why Travel Plans Focus on Life Experiences Instead of Luxuries

Most hotels stick with the tried and true, which includes identical amenities and room setups that they've had for years. The modern day traveler is looking for more than a room when they make their travel plans. They're looking for amenities that contribute to lasting memories, either through unique experiences or by facilitating encounters they otherwise wouldn't have had.

One example of hospitality that helps increase the likelihood of lasting memories are hotel locations that offer meeting areas and meet and greet events for travelers. You never know who might show up, allowing for a range of attendees to socialize.

One of a kind and high end restaurants on the hotel grounds are another way to add to a once in a lifetime experience. When you bring the life experiences on-site, you encourage your visitors to enjoy themselves the way they want to. Another possibility is with specialty stores with classes and demonstrations from local artists and crafters.
